Itinerary*
9.00am – 9.50am: Pickup
Meet at pick up points, usually your hotel or Valencia port if you’re coming on a cruise (timetable may vary depending of your cruise arrival time, please consult with us).
10.00am: Departure
Depart final pick up point for Requena, just under 45 minutes in our minivan.
11.00am: First winery
Learn how to swirl, sniff, slurp and then taste in this historic cellar door, home of the Requena Valleys’s first vineyard and adjacent to its award-winning, architecturally designed winery and restaurant with sculpture garden.
12.00am: Short city visit of the fascinating historic centre of Requena
A short tour of the medieval town centre including many hidden treasures and the remains of Arabic and Christian civilizations.
1.30pm: Lunch
Whether you choose between an authentic Valencian paella or a quality lunch in one of the most stylish venues in the heart of the old town, you’ll be amazed by the richness of the local cuisine and wines.
3pm: Artisan brewery
An exciting stop on your wine tour is an educational and delicious visit to one of our area’s micro-breweries. During your visit you will learn from master brewers about the history and time-honored art of handcrafting delicious beers in a variety of styles. Following the brewmaster’s presentation you will have an opportunity to enjoy a sample of three of the brewery’s fine fermented beverages. It’s a wonderful experience and opportunity to learn more about the similarities between the arts of fine wine production and of handcrafted brewing.
4.00pm: Return
Depart the Requena Valley for Valencia.
4.45pm – 5.00pm: Drop-off
